Unique, fun, creative design that fits their business, CAKES! We want the same feel and design theme for our own Ema Jane business to set us apart but unique to our logo, colors, and theme. We already have the logo files, just need the design layouts now. Be creative and realistic about layouts, borders for images (IMAGES ARE KEY, THEY MUST BE BIGGER ON OUR SITE), unique icons, cute icons, creativity.

Include a FOOTER REGION on each design just like they have, use up space like they have, this is a fun unique BRAND and we need a sweet unique creative design just like this cake one. We want a quick login form on every page that will show username password and login button, forgot username, forgot password, please register... fit those into the design somewhere... most likely above left side column (on all pages but home page) above categories, and integrated to home page design

We are using Magento for our shopping cart. You are not limited but to the shopping pages for some elements. Please read all our details for design specs. The shopping section will be a TWO COLUMN design, smaller left column, larger right column (all the products and detail pages)

(this shows a 3 column, ours will be two column, just keep that in mind during designing the shopping pages and template pages, home page will be without two columns).

- Contact info (like cake site, don't write contact info, this is just where twitter, facebook, rss, buttons will be, follow us graphic, phone number, email address)

we like this because it keeps all products accessible no matter what page they are on.

ALL PAGES will have the LOGIN form on left upper side. It will show login form box if not logged in and will go away if logged in. (this is what our developers will do, but you need to create the login box design)

LEFT SIDE
Except home page, all pages will have category browsing functionality on left side, please show this on your shopping design and template design. Also on left side, above categories, will be the login box you will design with forgot password and new customer. this login box will go away after they login.
under categories, will be a few more elements: Most recently viewed (shows 3 items most recently viewed with arrows up and down to go through others), just added to shopping cart (shows most recent 3 items added to cart, price, quantity).

1. Home Page
We need a nice home page designed using our current Ema Jane logo found on emajane.com (we have illustrator files). Using our logo create an attractive unique design and layout, you can feel free to modify colors slightly to work with a nice website layout and design, giving an ELEGANT CUTESY FUN look. See website samples for design ideas, as we have really given you one to follow making it easier, but please please use your creativity, color eye, design eye to make it work with our logo, colors, and theme of baby accessories, clothing, hats, etc..
Home page should capture women who visit our site with imagery of products, etc. Home page should have Photos (like cake sample site, but with products, a price, and category) that will feature, MOST POPULAR products, NEWEST PRODUCTS, On Sale Products (a sample of a site doing this on home page: http://www.weddepot.com ), create something to break those three sections apart on home page, with arrows so we can program it to rotate through products. BE creative with image borders. http://www.thelittlecakeparlour.co.uk/ we like borders, but be creative, we love the NEW ribbon for new photos, create a SALE ribbon for sales products, HOT for most popular.

2. Store Pages
Please design a sample layout of how our products will show on the shopping pages. BIG IMAGES (see sample website for good samples)

3. Template for all other STATIC pages
You will design a template mockup that will be the template for all other static pages we create (examples: Contact Us, About Us, Policy, Terms of Use, wholesale, other pages, etc.)

Be creative, using mainly the CAKE site sample with stylish theme, good color theme and a unique layout almost just exactly like theirs, but with our colors and an Ema Jane theme. Ema Jane needs to stick out when visitors come, where women (98% of our clients) will want to browse, not feel lost in clutter, but recognize our brand through our website, and spend ours looking at both our products, but also our site design will feel fun to come back to again and again.

Don't limit yourself to magento, be creative and expound. our main sample cake site is just our favorite direction to help you start out. We can make magento fit almost any design layout within reason, just limited to the left and right column for shopping layout, but please use borders, ribbons, etc. .

We will need all files to be ready for illustrator and photoshop so we can create image files of all design elements you create in design for our website.
