We are headhunters. We are very tightly niched. As a matter of fact, we place only one position. Director of Surgical Services. This is the person, in a hospital, who runs the Operating Room. There are lots of healthcare staffing firms but we are the only one that just fills exclusively this one position.
We are asking for a Welcome Page. This page would obviously be our welcome. However, we will be working with the winning designer on 6 subpages after the contest is over. The wecome site will have a flash-type slideshow – that would pull pictures of the hospitals that we have made placements with from our MYSql database. There would be about 40 pictures to cycle through and on each a popout with a slightly larger version of the photo and a caption underneath. There should also be a EyeGrabber with the content: "As of [today’s date], Whitman Partners has [46**] current Directors of Surgical Services organized by Experience, Education and Career Plans" See http://www.whitmanpartnersinc.com for context.
It should also tease the content of 3 subpages: About Us, Media and Map.
It may also have another teaser of the most Recent Placements.

Our map is our most important page. With it, we transcend competition, meaning it is used as a resource for all the Directors of Surgical Services when they want to know what jobs are open. We list the jobs even if we don't have the contract or are currently trying to win the contract and even our competitors have access to it. We do not want to password protect this site.
There is a cliche photo in healthcare websites and especially staffing firms - its the model-doctor with the stethoscope around his / her neck. We don't want this. Some professional-grade stock healthcare photos are desirable, but not this one, please. Down with smiling model-doctors!
