Page 1: Who We are
Improve USA is your All-In-One Aloe resource. We grow it, harvest it, process it and deliver it.
For more than 20 years Improve USA has been a industry leader in producing the highest quality Aloe vera including gels, whole leaf, liquid concentrates and powders. We supply Aloe vera products for the herbal, dietary supplement, nutritional, cosmetic, and personal care markets, as well as custom formulated products.
Over the years we have invested heavily in new technologies to assist us in providing customers products throughout our 3 state of the art facilities in Mexico. These improvements include new spray drying equipment, novel dehydration techniques, methods to remove aloin to the non-detectable levels, reduction in green-house gases and water usage, just to name a few. We continue to add and “IMPROVE” on every level at each of our processing plants as well as in the growing and harvesting in our Aloe Vera fields, plus looking at new packaging and delivery systems to make sure that the Aloe Vera you receive from Improve USA is simply the best.
Page 2: What We Do
Grow, Harvest, Process
Most of our Aloe Vera is organically grown and certified by Quality Assurance International, the recognized leader worldwide for Organic certification. We never use chemical fertilizers or pesticides on our fields or plants. We follow a strict regiment of working organic material back into the soil to keep the fields in peak growing condition. Our fields are irrigated with natural water sources and we constantly check for maturity, leaf size, plant color, and set a proper rotation, designed to harvest leafs at prime time.
While harvesting may not sound like a very important step in many natural products, it sure is with Aloe Vera. Not only do you need
to harvest at the right time, but the method of harvesting is also critical. Each leaf is harvested by hand, and must be nicked and pulled carefully from the mother plant so as not to break the rind. Properly taken, the leaves will naturally seal themselves within a short period, and the inner gel will not be exposed to oxidation or contamination.
Each of our products are made to a specific formula designed to retain the efficacy of the Aloe Vera plant, as it is in nature. We have invested in specialized equipment, some that we have developed ourselves, to apply as little heat to the Aloe Vera as possible in all our processing, knowing that heat will break down some of the bio-active components. Our state-of-the art equipment is designed to speed-up the process, lessening the natural degradation.
Our quality starts in the fields where we have certified agronomists who oversee the field selection, proper planting, irrigation and crop rotation so that we start our processing with the very best Aloe Vera leaves. Quality is carried forward with a full staff of quality control personnel at each facility who closely monitor each step in the processing. All facilities have a microbiology lab to monitor the environment and test each batch of product for quality. Located in our Proeza facility we have a High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) lab to enable us to test many of the processed Aloe components including the quantity and size of the polysaccharides contained in the Aloe Vera produced at all of our facilities.
