Brief description :
Tyde is a cloud-based software product used for reducing cost for hydropower-plants. In particular, it is used for creating a decision-making foundation for maintenance work and reducing probability for breakdowns, by exploiting the information in sensordata and control-signals that are already present in hydropowerplants. Using state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence techniques, operators gain full insight into the states of their various assets.
Target audience :
Target-customer companies are in the market of Hydropower-production. Within such organizations, the decision-makers usually has the role of CIO, or CTO, so one can assume some technical background. Furthermore, the success of these decision-makers are measured by how well the service is received by plant-operators and maintenance-work leaders, which has lower technical background, but higher knowledge in the domain of hydropower. The decision-makers often also has an IT-department which they will consult.
Use cases :
Before a breakdown, various linear and non-linear anomalies are usually present for relevant assets. Those are being detected, and reported so that necessary actions can be taken to avoid the breakdown.
Various assets in a powerplant has specific work-tasks that are being initialized by signals. For instance, during power-plant start-up oil-pumps will build oil-pressure on bearings. The performance of such work is analyzed, and any drift in performance is being detected. This is also information about change in asset-condition.
