Through reflective discussions with the client, we characterized the audience as predominantly one-time visitors hopeful of finding help with making a choice. The target defined, we coordinated a strategy to position the brand as a clear and direct comparison site.
We needed a logo to reflect this approach with an illustrative mark that explains 'what they do'–informing business owners that they've found an efficient place for site builder help became the focus for the design. The brand mark aims towards user needs for uncomplicated utility with a simple series of scaling devices/UI elements nested into a ranked system. A brand mark that doesn't need to be anything more than clear and explanatory that \"this site ranks website builder tools.\"")
