The branding/logo of the firm we serve is an elm tree and thus a fire-based logo would seem counter to our message of cohesion. I would love if the logo could include a theme of water and/or roots. The included mockup is just a reference. If there's a way to run with that design and make it compelling, fantastic, but other ideas from actual artists (who aren't me) are very welcome. This will mostly be used internally so it doesn't need to be exceeding clever or complex and will need a single-color variant for some use cases.
