Tiki (Polynesian masks) - applied to men-war, it was thought that this tattoo is protected, as well as protects against the evil eye and evil spirits.
Lizard - Polynesians considered them too something of a deity, and treated them with reverence, so they tattooed them so that they are always be with them.
