He won all 8 categories for the best pizza in the world at the 2021 World Cup. The logo also had to function as personal branding for Francesco Ialazzo. Since personal branding was instrumental to the design, I felt was important to be true to the unique features of Francesco. The challenge was to create a world-class portrait that would reproduce well in one, two, and 4 color applications. I created a custom screen pattern to achieve the halftone pattern used in the B&W and two-color versions.

Monoceros means unicorn, so the client was looking for a unicorn or a unicorn’s horn incorporated into the design. Since this design had to appeal to high-net-worth individuals, I felt the art should have impeccable detail with depth and dimension. I chose to make the horn stand out because this was a key aspect of the client’s request. The original designs were in shades of gray. I adapted the designs to include a wider pallet as a portfolio sample.")

The number one client goal was to define their service product clearly and induce trial. Since OpenAudible received a four-and-a-half star review, I highlighted their excellent rating to demonstrate this was a low risk for trial. I also highlighted the Apple, Windows and Linux icons, so users quickly learned that their platforms were supported. I added large download buttons to make the call-to-action process easy spot and use.
