It was important to communicate the book’s positioning to them in a visual manner. The covers needed to convey feelings of joy, balance, peace and beauty whilst still expressing fun and approachability.
The colour palette is pretty and feminine to attract the right audience, but is also consistent with Jody’s existing business brand colours. Pink represents femininity, care and nurture; perfect for a journal aligned with these themes. Grey was chosen to apply adequate contrast without implementing the starkness of black.
Feminine and flowing script typography which immediately attracts female readers, was chosen for the titles. Teamed with these was a simple sans serif type for a clean, gentle and uncluttered result that supports the graphics without competing for attention.")

This differs greatly from what her competition are showcasing in their brands - helping her brand to be distinctive. Secondly, it’s crafted to appeal to her target audience and also reflect Elizabeth’s own values and personality; making it truly authentic to her business.
Elizabeth’s field is highly emotive so I chose her colour palette with this in mind to attract her ideal client. She loves the harmonious pairing of a script font with a block font, which influenced the typography choices I made for her visual designs. The script type used in the logo design was customised and personalised for Elizabeth. The logo graphic features an abstract depiction of a rock balance scale; representing both the business name and Elizabeth’s mission. This serves to not only identify the business but communicates more meaning in the design.")

"Eternal Hope really grasped the concept of my logo from the outset, interpreted the brief correctly first time round. Fast, professional and creative won out amoung 31 other entries. Well done!!"
