As someone who has experienced the loss of pets, I wanted the design to reflect both grief and healing. The clean, minimalist style with a simple, readable font follows the author’s vision, and the soft blue palette conveys a sense of calm. The white illustrations of a cat, dog, and duck represent some of the pets mentioned in the biography. The butterfly used as the \"i\" in \"mourning\" reflects the idea of our loved ones' spirits surrounding and protecting us.")

With a Master’s in Landscape Architecture and 10+ years in studios across Melbourne and Seville, I’ve expanded my creative practice from landscape design into illustration and surface pattern design. Now self-employed, I create whimsical, nature-inspired artwork rooted in my love of plants and storytelling. Open to illustration, surface pattern, and landscape design projects.
